26/09/23 To all my lovely customers who have been asking about my health recently, I am sincerely grateful for your thoughts and support. I feel that I am now past the general lingering effects I only ocassionally now have a 'tired day' but that might be down to a bit of age creeping in :) So usual hours have been resumed. 17:15
26/09/23 We had a spam attack this am which has resulted in a slow down of processed mail. This situation will gradually resolve as the day progresses. To give you an idea at one point we were receiving 3-5 spam mails per second which continued for well over an hour. 15:25

17/08/23 At approx 06:40 ~ 07:00 this morning there was an Internet outage during this time the Orpheus servers were unavailable. Just after 07:00 all our services resumed. This an MSO (Major Service Outage) and has yet to be resolved completely. You may or may not be affected by this during today as a broadband customer. 08:35
01/08/23 Due to the large number of requests we have had this week for Spam/Junk folders we have decided to implement them on all accounts going forwards. As 60% of all the mail we receive is SPAM/JUNK when we sort out the servers to deliver all of this to peoples accounts we plan to make these folders auto empty after seven days. Most authentication emails are only valid for 10 minutes at most which is the most common cause for a request for Spam/Junk folders. Please contact me at the usual address if you wish to comment in a constructive way. 17:24
28/07/23 Odd hours for office responses at Orpheus and GeneSys. I contracted Covid towards the end of June and although I am well now it has unfortunately caused me to have good and bad days since with the need to stop work and sleep. Sometimes this has resulted from a busy day previously. I ask for your patience if I appear to be unavailable and slow to respond. The general trend is that I am getting better but looking into this it would seem that a period of 6~8 weeks is quite normal for a full recovery. I sincerely hope that I don't get Long Covid which is why I am doing my best to take things easy. I appreciate all the good wishes I have received from my customers who have spoken with me. 11:44
28/07/23 We are aware that there was some form of outage last night around midnight which affected the general internet. Our servers were under a heavy attack between 1 & 4 am this morning but have since recovered and caught up. However during that time requests for mail and web pages would likely not have worked. 11:34
