pvUnfortunately, POP mail is still unavailable. No emails will be lost because the backup servers (and outgoing mail) are working normally. It's just the POP login which has failed. Some hosted websites may be unavailable. Normal service will be resumed as soon as possible.

Unexpected downtime

pvDue to a router failure in London, we lost connectivity for approx 15 minutes. This was outside the control of Orpheus but was luckily resolved in a short time.
smtp (outgoing mail) was manually restarted after it was discovered that it didn't come back up correctly after the earlier problem. Everything should be working normally as of 3pm but I'd like to apologise for this unexpected outage.

pvDue to recent upgrades WebMail no longer appears to work on PC browsers. It will works ok with RISC OS ones though. I'm investigating the problem, which appears to be related to the pre-update templates (skins).

pvI've just received notification from BT that one of their exchanges has suffered a major router outage, which may potentially be affecting ADSL connectivity to some customers. Engineers are working on the problem, which seems to be in the Buckinghamshire area.
